"This is Nora's first year with NRV and her coaches are thrilled to have her as a part of their team. Nora is a very hard-working, team-focused player who is excelling in a new position! She does everything possible to be the best player she can by asking questions and immediately putting her new skills into practice. Nora is also an amazing teammate - always the first to congratulate someone on a great play or by offering a word of encouragement to anyone who needs it. She has grown so much as a player and as a person this season. Her coaches are incredibly proud of the tremendous young lady that she is and of how far she has come!"
"Holly is a wonderful young lady whose love of the game has brought her back ...after a two year hiatus. She has an extraordinary work ethic, taking full advantage of every last minute of practice time available, always asking questions and doing everything she possibly can to improve her skills. Holly is also an amazing teammate, constantly building up and supporting those around her. Her coaches are extremely proud of her drive, her desire to better herself both on and off the court, and her team-first mentality."
"Abbie has show a huge amount of improvement in many areas. Her level of hustle and self determination has helped her find more floor time and become a dependable player all around the floor. Her ability to take critique and apply it has helped her to become a better player in a short amount of time and we are proud of her work ethic the last few months!"
"Kaytlin is a great example of what all coaches hope to see or if their players. Her coachability, team first mindset and work ethic are traits that always make a team better. As an outside hitter Kaytlin leads our team in kills and continuously works to improve her skill set while also encouraging her teammates."
"Reagan has worked hard from the beginning of the season to become a better player. This past weekend she showed us the meaning of team player when she was put into a position she was not as familiar with and did great! She was receptive and positive when given a difficult task and was able to still play great!"
Next Revolution is excited to announce our first ever "Playmaker" awards! This is an opportunity for coaches to highlight and honor various players who are outstanding examples for their team and our club. A "Playmaker" for Next Revolution embodies the traits many coaches and teammates look for; commitment, hustle, heart, integrity, enthusiasm and more. So our players will not be chosen strictly because of skillset, but a combination of traits.
"Lauren has been an asset to our team with her discipline. She has now served out two games with over 15 serves in a row. She is hard working and she pushes herself and her teammates to their potential."
"Alle began the season a little quiet but eager to learn. Being a setter the importance of leadership on the floor is a priority and she has worked to develop this aspect of her game. Alle has also shown the ability to adapt to new challenges and skills in her position becoming a better player and more confident in her abilities. Her teammates look to her as a leader on the floor."
"Lexi is a captain for our team and has improved tremendously on both her vocal leadership and her skills as a middle blocker. As the season continues we look for her to be a dominant force!"
"Reagan is a right-side hitter on our team. She is very coachable and is always asking questions about how to get better. Reagan has improved a lot this season and is one of our most consistent servers. We can always count on her to make her serve after a timeout or during a high pressure situation. Reagan is always cheering on and encouraging her teammates while being very positive and doesn't let mistakes get her down. We are proud of Reagan and can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds for her!"
"KK is her team’s biggest cheerleader, always the first one to congratulate her teammates and let them know how great they’re doing. She is the driver behind her team’s energy, and is often the spark they need to get them back on track.
KK is also dedicated to being the best player she can be - constantly looking to better herself through hard work and extra practice and she has greatly improved her skills over the course of the season. She has also worked hard to improve her leadership on and off the court, and has done a tremendous job expanding the development of her skills!
Her coaches are so glad KK chose to play travel volleyball this year and consider themselves lucky to have coached such an impressive young lady!"
"Grace is a cool, focused, confident player who helped her team play great in their first tournament! She became the anchor of the team defensively and gave them motivation to keep going. She really stepped up as a leader for her team!"
"Emma is an 8th grader who has a clear love for volleyball. She is very coachable and is eager to learn so that she can improve her skills. Emma is a good teammate and is a dependable player on the court. This past weekend at the Maroon and Orange Classic, Emma's confidence grew and her intensity helped our team to win the gold bracket! As a middle and outside hitter, she had 17 aces, 43 kills, 6 solo blocks, and 12 digs. Awesome job, Emma! Keep up the great work!"
"Mattie always has a great attitude, is very coachable, and gives constant encouragement her teammates. She has an exemplary work ethic and has the ability to play multiple positions on the court. She is one of our strongest passers and servers and is always willing to play any position that the team needs her to, whether it is all around or libero. Mattie is truly an asset to the NRV 13s team!"
"Anne Scott is a first class team before I kind of player. She always wants feedback about her play to not only make her a better player but a better player for the team. She has stepped up her play in the last few tournaments and shown ability to lead both on and off the court."
